Interestsing and informative
An intresting experience with the history lesson to be had here, as well as a lot of information about the living quarters of State Police at least in the past. Free and easily available, though not always open. Check the hours on line.

small but interesting
Very, very interesting! Small, but full of information on the history of the state police in Massachusetts, from 1865 to today. They had uniforms, badges, weapons, radio equipment from way back when and other technology. We were amused by the sign about tattooed chickens, from the depression, when in order to help prevent chicken theft people would tattoo their chickens. We had a knowledgeable guide who answered many questions. Or, you can wander around the two rooms on your own. Definitely worth an hour of your time.
