Beautiful spot, great for weddings
MHS’s 36-acre hands-on Garden at Elm Bank offers adults and children the opportunity to experience, enjoy and learn about plants and the environment. The site includes various garden spaces from the historic Italianate Garden to the educational New England Trial Garden to the whimsical Weezie’s Garden for Children. Several plant societies and garden clubs have also installed permanent demonstration and display gardens at the Garden at Elm Bank.

Amazing gardens with Charles river in the backyard
We are a frequent visitor here. They really have amazing gardens, including one for kids called Wizzey garden. Summer is beautiful. Winter time it's for snow sliding and cross country. During fall season, nice New England colors can be seen here. A must visit if you are in the area.

A good 3-4 hour picnic spot on a nice day
We were a group of 7 (with two senior citizens) and this was the first real outing post the pandemic (with half the bunch vaccinated). It is a great place for kids to run around/ stroll with others in the family while watching flowers, Roman statues, a variety of different trees or just be on the grass on a pleasant day. If you are lucky you can also standby a line a cherry blossoms and watch a quick high school soccer game happening outside the garden. The gardens are huge with plenty of social distancing.
