    Beautiful and well maintained park
My husband and I went here for the first time this weekend and we'll definitely be going back! It's far enough away from the roads and traffic that you really feel like you're in the woods. The trails are all very clearly marked and well maintained. And I was surprised to find that the "wildlife" part of the sanctuary lived up to its name, as we saw plenty of birds, reptiles, and even a beaver.

    Nature's treasure
What a terrific preserve. 12 or so miles of natural trails to explore. Some of birds will eat out of your hand, so bring some seeds along. A couple of chickadees and a red winged blackbird followed us on a path until we entered a pine grove area. Fun. We saw a deer and lots of frogs. The resident hawk posed for us on a log about 15 feet in front of us and then casually flew off. Terrific. Staff is really nice and informative. Bring bug spray and be sure to put on sun screen, wide rimmed hat is helpful too. Was buggy since it rained the day before. Really a treasure - can't wait to visit in the fall.
