Liberty Ride, Massachusetts, United States

4.5 (298 reviews) Tuesday: Spent Ranking #1 in Lexington Historical & Heritage Tours

The place from which the shot was heard around the world.

If you are looking for a guided historical tour of Lexington and Concord, you will love the one we took in June 2007 with our 13 year old granddaughter. The tour is given by Liberty Ride. We rode back and forth several times on their small comfortable buses. Each of the guides we encountered was very knowledgeable, eager and well able to relate the stories and past events while en route and when deboarding and walking to various sites. You can get on and off at various points if you wish to spend more time there and then take the next tour bus in either direction. We didn’t have a car on our trip to Boston, but when we called a Liberty Ride Coordinator, she gave us easy, fast and accurate directions to get to Lexington on public transportation. If you haven’t been to Lexington and Concord, don’t miss this trip. The Wolffs from Highland Park, Illinois.

Great tour, guide makes it a memorable experience
Wonderful way to experience Lexington and Concord. My 11-year-old son and I enjoyed the tour. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. I know it’s a tight timeline, but would have been nice if the guide would have allowed even just 5 minutes for photos. We were at these amazing historic sites and when I tried to take a picture, I would have to run to catch up with the group since there was no time for that.
