    Excellent Visitors Center
I visited the new Lexington Visitors Center in April 2022. The staff were very helpful. There was an exhibit on the timeline for the Battle of Lexington and also an interactive exhibit. The gift shop and book shop were very nice. Outside the Visitors Center are benches, tables and chairs. It is a peaceful place to sit and rest. I would visit the Lexington Visitors Center first before exploring Lexington Green and the town.

Nice overview of the Lexington battlefield
The visitors center is located on Lexington Green, site of the shot heard round the world. It's worth a stop for history buffs to see the site. This is also the launch point of the Lexington trolley tour (highly recommend). There are a few displays and a nice gift shop. There's plenty of street parking. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
