    A little pricey
This is our first time here. The place is quite small which is something we expected before visiting. However, I think the ticket was quite pricey, $24.99 for both adult and kids. Our kids seem to enjoy it though.

    Birthday party was ok.
This is a review of the birthday party my son had here, not a review of Legoland Boston's rides and attractions. Booking the party by calling their toll-free line was fairly easy. The representative I talked to was very informative and very patient in answering all my questions. Once I had the exact number of guests attending all I had to do was call them back so they can charge me for the extra adults. Legoland Boston doesn't advertise their direct phone number so if you have questions specific to the venue (in my case I wanted to find out where the ice cream cake is from so I can check the ingredients in advance) you'll have to call the toll-free number and they'll relay the question to Boston. The party hosts who greeted us at the lobby were very enthusiastic and amiable. They handed out wristbands to all the guests before shepherding us to the party room, which was already set up with party hats and Legos for the kids to assemble. The party room was very spacious IMO, with more than enough seats for all our 40 guests (20 kids and 20 adults) and plenty of room to spare. Once the kids were done putting their Legos together the hosts served the pizza then the yummy ice cream cake from J.P. Licks. I'm rating our experience 3 stars for the following reasons: 1) The pizza was quite simply the most unappetizing pizza I've ever tasted. It was cold, greasy and the crust had the consistency of a cardboard. The only choices were cheese and pepperoni. Since the birthday package only included 4 pizzas (they determine the number of pizzas based on the number of kids) I had to pay for an additional 4 more for the grown-ups. Turned out to be a waste of money and food as we ended up with 3 1/2 boxes of leftovers (no one had seconds!), which we ended up tossing out because no one wanted to take it home. 2) The Lego set they built was not challenging at all for 7-year olds. Most of them finished it pretty quickly. It was a Lego Creator plane with around 50 pieces. Something you'll find at Target for $5. I expected something a little more complicated and I also expected a mix of boy- and girl-themed Legos. Oh well. 3) They don't have a place to store the gifts temporarily until it's time for us to leave. Instead, they gave us big plastic bags to dump all the gifts in after the party. My husband had to carry 2 huge plastic bags out of the party room, take the stairs to the ground floor, walk in the snow to our car, which was parked in the parking garage. It would have been nice to load them all in the car while the car's out front. It would have taken all of 10 seconds to load them. Yes, the kids had tons of fun. It's Legoland after all. It's just not something I would recommend to friends looking for a party venue.
