Fun and Well Maintained

Though we went during the winter months, it was still a fun experience. My younger brother was actually playing sports.

Great place to be-no matter the beach you choose.
It is a very nice, spring fed lake. It’s so clean it’s one of the few lakes where the state stocks trout. There are 2 Beaches and both have lifeguards. Beach street/Veterans Memorial Park beach is for residents who have purchased a parking permit or are walking in. It’s not cheap so be prepared. The beach is very well kept and has shade trees. Once in the water it’s very shallow, great for little ones. The sandy beach end stays sandy once in the water. The other end, where the trees are, is rocky and water shoes/flip flops are needed. There is a food stand, playground and bathrooms. The other end of the lake is at the Community Center and open to all. It also requires the purchase of a parking or walk-in pass. The water is deeper than the other end and contains more sand. There is no food stand and a porta-potty is available.

    Local lake
A very well kept local lake at Massapoag Avenue and Pond Street. One end of the lake is a beach and free parking for Town Residents. The opposite side of the lake has a low cost parking lot. There are Life Guards at both beaches.
