Not a very great experience for me

Enjoyed my first time racing go-karts!
My cousin and I saw vouchers for K1 Speed on Groupon. It was a great price, so we decided to each buy a voucher and check it out. Our first visit was on a Sunday morning, when the place first opened. It was great as we had the place to ourselves. Our voucher allowed us 4 races, but we only did 2 and decided to visit at a later date and enjoy our 2 other races. K1 Speed in Wilmington was clean and the staff was very helpful answering all of the questions we had since it was our first visit. I am looking forward to our next trip back there.

Ok but...
It was fun but we had booked a birthday party group for three races...know that it turns out that a "party" does not mean you get exclusive use of the track for your "party"...they had us do one race, leave the track, then they raced other "party" groups and/or walk-ins while we waited for another turn...this is ridiculous...what's the point of booking a "party"? Once I realized what was going on I complained -twice- and someone took charge and let us finish our final two races consecutively...which was important for us because we had another event to get to a good distance away and it looked like we were going to be at K1 way longer than the reservations person had told me (I did ask at the time of the booking). I get it...they want you lingering in-between races and buying concessions...but it was frustrating to have to complain...they should explain upon booking that it is not exclusive use of a track for a "party".
