Great place for first skydive

My son and I went to Jumptown for our fist skydiving experience on June 27th. It was amazing. I have to say that this place was great. There were low clouds, so they were not sure if we could get up there. However, we came out, checked in and waited about 2 h. Then we got our chance, they saw a window and they got us up there. It was so cool. Really a good crew of people helping out. Super fun, made it seem and feel easy, no hassle, funny, kept the nerves calm and really was just so great. As you can tell the adrenaline is still going. Free falling for 60 sec is so awesome. Once the shoot came out we were brushing a cloud, so great. Highly recommend the video and stills. The video was absolutely killer. That guy is a real videographer. My son and I had different camera people, and both were excellent. This is the place to go!

    Great time
I went with my 18yo son for tandem jumps, first time for both of us. We had a blast, the jump itself was great, and the whole process was smooth and fun. Important: reserve a slot ahead of time. Plan to be there 2-3 hours. You have to watch a safety/liability video, get some instruction, and get suited up. The plane is basically going up and down constantly all day, so while you wait you can watch other people jumping and landing. You jump from 13k feet, freefall for maybe a minute, then glide down for a few minutes more. The time was hard to judge: it felt like it lasted forever and was over in a flash. We bought the whole package, including video, so we each had our own videographer jumping with us. This was well worth it, we now have fun videos and some amazing photos to show off to our friends. Highly recommended group or family bonding experience, or to mark a special occasion.

    Amazing experience!
My brother and I came here for our first tandem skydiving experience. He is 60 and I am 65! It's not too late to try this amazing sport! It's the oldest facility of its kind in the country. Consequently, they have very experienced staff. Because of this ,we drove 2 hours from Southern Maine rather than jump at a local skydiving facility. After signing the obligatory waivers, we watched a mandatory video advising us of the risks. Don't let it put you off. Then one of the jumping coaches/ partners went over the details of the jump and what we needed to do during the jump. He also made it clear that we could change our minds too. Well, we didn't. Eric was my coach. What a great guy. He had a great sense of humor that helped keep me cool as a cucumber! I laughed a lot! I also smiled the entire time. I have video proof LOL My brother had Mark as a coach. Their demeanor were well suited . He did the initial instruction. We felt confident under his tutelage. Lastly, Jesse was our videographer. I paid extra to have video and stiils taken. It is worth every penny. He is a fun, outgoing young man who made us feel at ease ,explained what to expect and took amazing footage. A video editor then takes the raw footage and transforms it into a cohesive video. If you can't tell,I was so happy ☺ with this experience. My brother and I can't wait to jump again! Call for a reservation soon!
