GREAT RESOURCE FOR TRAVEL INFO
Heading west on Route 2 for the Mohawk Trail, the Johnny Appleseed Trail Visitor Center was a great resource for travel info. It had a lot of travel booklets, pamphlets, and info/advertising cards for attractions and lodging. The staff was helpful and friendly. It also had a small gift shop with souvenirs and snacks. It was also a good rest stop for leg-stretching and restrooms. I also ate my picnic lunch here. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.

Must Stop on Mohawk Trail
When heading west on Rte.2, the Mohawk Trail, you must stop at this information center in Lancaster just east of I-190, to pick up a snack, get a souvenir, wash up, pick up tourist brochures, and get any question answered by the friendly people at the information desk. In October, apple picking season, I got a free apple!
