Illumination night

My family including 3 and 4 year old grandchildren went to the Illumination night in Ipswich put on by the Ipswich Cultural Council. What a beautiful and fun night! The weather was mild and clear. The river was lit up with bonfires and light sculptures and Japanese lanterns. The town hall featured an art show as well as the Hall Haskell House. There were various musical and dance performances around town and food stands featuring local cuisine. There was a beer garden on the Riverwalk. There was a IPD Black Light Alley and Harvard Astronomers at town hall field. As well as a poetry reading at Zumi’s coffee house and a haunted house at the Ipswich Museum! Topped off the night!

    Nice River
This is a nice river that runs through the heart of Ipswich. An especially fine area for viewing it is the bridge opposite the falls and fish ladder.
