Horseneck Beach State Reservation, Massachusetts, United States

Still great walking beach, despite Covid-19!

Despite Covid-19, this beach is just as popular as ever. There are a few changes to not though. 1) only credit cards are being accepted....no cash!! 2) you must wear a mask when using the facilities 3) park in a designated parking spot. We noticed someone getting a parking ticket for parking in a spot that clearly stated "no parking". In order to have more space, you do need to walk a bit more either left or right. Some people were almost on top of each other as they did not want to go far off the path from the boardwalk to the beach. We usually just walk both ways and the farther you go, the less people you see.

    Beautiful, clean, family friendly beach
What a great beach! Nice facilities with bathroom, foot washing stations and showers. Waves were huge and good lifegaurd support. Highly recommend getting a DCR pass ahead of time to save time paying for parking and waiting in line.

Good beach camping. Better if Land Blimps were corralled.
Another nice weekend at Horseneck. Weather was great. Kudos to site manager and staff for clean and safe site. Bathrooms were clean night and day. The staff were out cleaning sites daily. dcr should install electricity to half the campground and ban generators. The sound of the waves is what should be heard. Land Blimps should be regulated to non beach side of beach road to afford other campers sight to the ocean. There's nothing they could not see from their second floor suite or roof top lounge. Btw Why have the porch lights on when you're inside watching big screen tv?
