Great place to walk if you live in Grafton!

My son is seven and this is the perfect place to go for a hike and also just a short drive from where we live so it gives us the opportunity to walk in the woods more often than we would be able to otherwise. There is a really cool old foundation of rocks and an old well that were made years and years ago that is fun to see and imagine how they lived before there were established roads, house, etc. in Grafton. There is parking at the entrance of the park and quite a few trails to walk in for families.

    Excellent place to snow shoe!
Visited recently when there was enough snow on the ground to go for a good snowshoe hike. Excellent terrain that allows you to get a good cardio workout. Add in the interesting Native American history and it makes for a nice afternoon hike.

    A walk in the woods.
Conservation land and power lines. Trails are mapped, and trail markers posted, although you can still take a wrong turn and end up quite lost. Horses are ridden in this area, so watch your step. Trails can be a bit soggy after rains, so wear boots.
