Wild life in the city!

This easy trail hugs the pond rim in a 4+ mile in/out with a few variations. Frequent sittings of deer, beaver, eagles, turtles, heron, geese, ducks, tortoises, and other animals await the quiet walker. Lovely at any season.

    Peaceful
i love walking this pond. Theres tons of small trails or you can just walk the main trail straight to the other side which is about a mile to a a mile and a half long. If you walk around the entire pond its about 5 miles and the last half mile or so of it is a street and sidewalk, not the woods, but i enjoy walking around the entire pond still sometimes. Just dont go after 4pm because it starts to get very buggy at that point.

    quiet remote location
well... what can I say? it is a rather large pond which I believe provides water for the community of Andover MA. the wooded area makes it perfect for meeting an illicit lover or hiding that body which is turning stale in the basement.
