Pandemic Weddings are Possible!
Like many brides trying to plan a wedding in the COVID-19 era, I didn’t think it was possible. The staff at Glen Magna proved me wrong! We had an incredible wedding (48 guests!) in the most picturesque wedding venue in Massachusetts. It felt like a fairy tale! There’s an old willow tree we took pictures under, a beautiful backdrop of the gardens and more. Our guests raved about how stunning the venue was. There are silver linings to a pandemic and for us, Glen Magna was available and within our budget!

Absolutely stunning gardens!
My husband and I were invited to an elegant wedding reception at Glen Magna Farms in Danvers, Massachusetts. We had no idea what to expect. I was completely awestruck by the beauty of the gardens. It could not have been a more perfect place to host a formal wedding. The wedding ceremony took place in the Flower Garden and the bride and groom exchanged their vows while standing in front of the Cushing Pergola. Since the wedding took place in late summer, the pergola (which is covered in enormous wisteria vines) was green and lush. However, the Glen Magna Farms website features pictures of the pergola in the spring when the wisteria is in bloom. It took my breath away! The wedding reception took place under a white tent in the Old Fashioned Garden. The plantings were gorgeous. I think I took more pictures of the landscape than I did the wedding party! The only drawback was the area behind the Flower Garden--the greenhouses. They are in desperate need of repair. However, I don't think many people even noticed them because they were distracted by the other gardens. Since I love greenhouses, I noticed and it saddened me that they were in such disrepair. But other than that, my experience was nothing short of spectacular!

BEAUTIFUL GARDENS!
We attended a winter wedding here on a snowy night several years ago. We were in the area today and decided to drive by. Wow! We finally saw the grounds which are very pleasant and very well maintained. The flower gardens are beautiful. I wish my cousin had had a summer wedding!
