Course was burned to a crisp
Played with a friend on a Saturday late August, course was rather empty, wasn't sure why. After a few holes we knew, course was dried out to an extreme, lots of barren spots on brown fairways, yet we paid full price. Would recommend asking about conditions when making reservations in the future.

Fun holes for sure, but to much $$ and slow play.
This place has some very unique and interesting holes. Fun to play. Distance is deceiving, the card from the back tees registers a little over 6200 yards, but because of elevations actually plays longer. The conditions were, tees fine, fairways excellent, greens (some would be considered to bumpy), and did not hold shots as well as they looked..... but overall pretty darn good. That said any golf course in New England this year should be as good as it's ever going to get. This place went belly up before and, obviously, the new owners are giving it another crack, whether it will last or not depends on the rates. I received a senior rate with cart of $45 weekday, so that was entirely acceptable, but was quoted on the phone (not knowing I was a senior) a rate of $60. $50-$55 do-able. $60 weekday & $70 weekend ... ah .. I don't think so ... . Oh and did I mention the slow play..... 4 1/2 hours weekday.... that's the reason for the average rating.
