Not your usual beach

I enjoyed my stay by this beach. It was during the increased shark sitings in Cape Cod so that might have explained my experience. I didn't sense this was a typical beach. The water was California cold and there were no waves to speak of. Most days there were only a handful of people. It felt like it was for scenery only. You jog or sit on the beach but don't go in? Again...sharks or temperature, I don't know. It didn't ruin my trip...I love just being around a beach but if I'm looking for traditional beach activities, I'm heading South. Otherwise, this was a remote area without all of the touristy distractions and noise. I will go back I'm sure.

    Don't go to Fieldston beach
    Fieldston is NOT a public beach. No place to park. Rexhame has a parking lot, lifeguards, bathrooms and a snack bar.
