Nice concerts in the summer

This is a wonderful park and outdoor concert venue. There are several music series here throughout the summertime. I have included a link and URL for your perusal.

    Fun musical evenings!
The Energy Park is on the site of the old railroad station in Greenfield. It has been lovingly planted with interesting flowers and trees, possesses a delightful wooden train engine for kids to climb onto and is the venue for mostly rock, country and military bands of all kinds throughout the summer. There is never any charge for these. People often bring their own chairs and picnic suppers or lunches for some affordable family fun.

    Cute Idea but Sketchy Application
The park is a very neat idea. There are some small things for young children to play on and the colors are bright and beautiful; however, this area is slightly removed from sight and there are many shady characters loitering around the area. I walked through recently with my fiancee and found myself preparing for a possible confrontation. I would not feel comfortable bringing my young child here unless Greenfield makes efforts to keep the area clear of unsavory types.
