Dunn State Park, Massachusetts, United States

4.5 (12 reviews) Spent Ranking #3 in Gardner State Parks

Well maintained

We like coming here year round. Foliage is always beautiful, trails well maintained. Decent indoor bathrooms, there's a beach and grills for cooking out, play ground. Beautiful place to take photos! The trail around the lake is a pretty easy hike. Lots of parking. You have to pay to park these days, I think $5?

    beautiful little park
Stopped at this little park on a late spring day just on a whim as we were driving by. We had our dog Roscoe, with us and he always likes a little adventure! I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice little park, with a paved walkway and benches along the trail, all nicely groomed and very clean. There's an info center with restrooms, always important. There's a little playground for the kids and a lake with a boat launch for taking your kayak or canoe out for a paddle. The beach is small but adequate except on the hottest of days. Looks to me as though this would be a nice picnic place, and we'll definitely go back again. Roscoe agrees!
