Demarest Lloyd State Park, Massachusetts, United States

Massachusetts Hidden Gem

I think Demarest Lloyd Beach is absolutely Gorgeous. It has huge sandbars so it is perfect for little ones since the water in this area only gets between 2-3 feet (no waves) and the water is warmer. Terrific landscape and very serine. Great picnic areas too! If your looking for t-shirt stands, arcades and gift shops this is certainly not the place. If your looking a nice day to relax on the beach, then you found your place. Two thumbs way up!

    Great place for kidsFamily
Really a great spot, many people complain about the rocks but they are o ly at the earlier part of entering the water, once a few feet in they disappear. Also (a little secret) if you go further down the beach it was all sand. The other nice thing (especially for the kids) it never gets deep. It starts a low level and builds to a higher level but never overly deep unless you relent all the way into the channel where boats can go. There's a great picnic area and play area for the kids. Also plenty of parking and I'm not sure but there may be a boat ramp.
