Good place to catch a movie
Went here to catch a movie. Cinemagic is within a strip mall, so parking is good. Upon exiting in the dark of the evening, lighting in the parking lot was good and I did not feel "unsafe". On the night I went (Wednesday evening) there were few people there and two people at the ticket counter / concession stand. Upon entering, I was sufficiently greeted by the ticket person and I bought a ticket for the movie. Having obtained my ticket, I walked around the concession stand to get some snacks. No one there. I asked about someone coming over and the other of the two ticket people came right over. I ordered popcorn and a drink. Both were served up quickly. The popcorn was fresh and the drink fizzy, so both were good. I asked for extra sale, whereupon the concession person did some digging around to find 4 -5 salt packets. (Hint: might want to bring your own if you like salt throughout your popcorn like I do). The theater itself hadn't been cleaned for some period of time. While most theaters seem to always be a bit disheveled, this place was more so than most. Additionally, the place seemed just a bit dated. I don't need a thoroughly modern / Hollywood glitz / art deco theater to enjoy a movie, but I'm writing this detail because for some this indicates an aged facility and may reflect on their perception of cleanliness. The intro had the typical commercials and social media information, it was kept to a refreshing minimum....the movie started pretty quickly as stated for show time. Sound and video projection were both good. Sound clear and powerful but not loud to the point of hurting. The video was crisp and clear. Movie with snacks was about $25. All in all, I enjoyed a great movie for a reasonable price.

Horrible customer service
My husband and I went to go see a movie here and were very disappointed with quality of customer service. We went to a late show and ran into issues at the concession. I asked if I could get a coffee and staff said they didn't have coffee even though it was on the menu and there was a keurig in eye sight. So I asked for tea instead and they said they didn't have any even though it was on the menu. As a last resort I asked for a hot chocolate and the three staff combined could not figure out how to get hot water to put the packet of cocoa in. After over 5 minutes I have up and walked away. The theater itself was nice and clean but I would never go back nor would I recommend anybody go.
