Bear's Den frozen today. 2 -21-20
I traveled from SW CT 2 1/4 hours to find this area of MA under covered with 3-5 inches of frozen snow. Winter walkers earned their money today. Without them I would never have been able to explore. Very serene and quite spot since I was the only one there. The falls were 95% frozen with very little water flowing. At the base of the falls the ice formations were other worldly. I think this place and others in the general area are worth another look once spring arrives. I went because it's new and didn't expect to find it as frozen as it was. 5 stars.

Nice hike
Easy or medium hiking, easy to bring young ones too a small water falls and hiking area. Large cliffs surround you that make you feel like your in the middle of nowhere.
