Horrible Customer Service

I had a birthday party scheduled at BB Kidz in Marlborough - it never happened because of covid. Then this location shut down. It is now opened by Apex Entertainment - they state they are not absorbing previously paid for parties with BB Kidz. I called BB Kidz of Leominster. They state that they were never affiliated with the Marlborough location, but at the same time, they state that Apex is responsible for absorbing the birthday parties that were paid for at BB Kidz. She would not give me her manager and claims she is the manager - and would not let me speak to anyone higher.

    Terrible
    I took my two children (4yo and 2mo) to BB kidz at 5pm on Friday 3/1/19. I did a google search prior to our arrival which said they were open until 8pm...when I arrived I paid full price for what should have been two hours of play only to hear over the loud speaker at 5:45 that we needed to leave by 6pm because they were closing for a private party. You can imagine this went over really well with my 4 year old only having had about 40ish min to play after signing in, paying, and removing our shoes and coats not to mention I had just started nursing my newborn who's feeding I had to cut short in order to buckle him (crying) into his car seat and get my oldests shoes and coat on all amidst the SWARM of birthday party kids who were practically trampling over us to to get in as we were scrambling to get out. I enjoyed a beautiful car ride home with two screaming children after paying $13 for what should have been a really fun night. My complaint is that at NO point was I made aware that our time would be cut short BEFORE paying full price and when I mentioned this to the front seat staff she said "oh sorry I didn't realize you didn't know". When I could tell that she was not in a position to issue a refund I asked for a manager to which she said "there's no manager here, you can email at [email protected] to reach them quickly." Well...that email does not work. I have checked it's accuracy against what they have listed on their site, it's correct. I messaged their Facebook page only to be told it was googles fault that this happened, that they've never had an issue before (there's multiples reviews on yelp and trip advisor stating similar experiences) and "thank you for sharing your feelings"'when I told them I expected to be contacted by management to have this rectified. I am appalled at the experience and at this point it goes beyond the $13.

    Awful establishment
    I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone with kids!! It's run down, more than half the "arcade" games are broken and the "climber" in the middle has MULTIPLE safety concerns. The teenage girl left alone to run the store wasn't very helpful when I relayed my concerns gave me an email address to contact management.
