Neat place in a beautiful little town
Visited on Veterans Day today and just a handful of people. Beautiful view from the top of the hill. Short steep dirt hill but can see the castle from the road so not too far. Cool Historical site.

Fun castle for family
Super fun short walk up to the abandoned castle. Built after 1906, the original owner ran out of funds and it became a sanitarium. Today you can park and walk. There isn’t much parking and your have to look for it down at the bottom of the hill on the road. A path leads up. Don’t take the private drive. The castle is fun for kids, and you can take photos and wander around. A fun, short experience that is worth doing. Also has an amazing view.

I lived on this farm
I actually lived on this farm for years and we'd walk through the pasture almost daily to play in the castle. It's kind of sad now to see so many people there. Please be kind to this property and trust me there are no ghosts.
