Breathtaking Nature
If you're a nature lover, The Arnold Arboretum is a must-see when traveling to Boston. While it's located outside of the downtown area, you can get there by public transit or a taxi/Uber in around a half hour. The landscaping, maintained by Harvard University, is outstanding, and there's no better place to visit in the Spring. I would highly recommend this for tourists looking for a change of pace from 'the city'.

Mother's Day visit
We went on one of the busiest days of the year, after the threat of Covid had largely (not totally) lifted. Lilacs in full bloom, gorgeous day, people enjoying being outside. People need trees! Treat yourself and go (thank you Harvard for keeping this wonderful greenspace free to visitors!)
