Tabernacle - Historic building

If you're inclined to attend a religious service Sunday mornings, preachers come from all over the country and from many different religious groups. On Wednesday evenings at 730 pm you can join an olfashioned sing a long. The third Wednesday in August the Tabernacle is filled (over 1500 people) to start the Illumination of the Campground. A ery unique part of American history

    The Tabernacle
My girlfriend and I flew up for the weekend to attend an evening with The Moth at The Tabernacle and what an evening it truly was. This very old and well-preserved steel structure is beautiful and the perfect venue for story telling... or any number of events for that matter. The 'building' is surrounded by 320 of the most uniquely painted and adorned camps dating back to the mid-1800s. It was a pleasure to stroll the narrow streets and take in the gingerbread community.

    Beautiful Outdoor Church
Nothing was going on in the tabernacle while we were there, but we went in and sat down there to rest after walking quite a bit and it was very relaxing. We would like to come back when there is a function there.
