gorgeous views with a side of history
This sweeping park has plenty of room for everyone. Kids with frisbees, picnics and sunbathers are sprinkled throughout the park. a gazebo and cooling fountains are at the center, However the most interesting thing in the park is a statue that's dedicated to union soldiers paid for by a Confederate who believed in reconciliation. How cool is that?

Nice Park Near the Coast with a Classic Gazebo
Ocean Park sits across the street from the beach in Oak Bluffs. Surrounded by beautiful Victorian Homes and only steps from downtown with ample shops and restaurants. Since we were here in December and it was quite cold we couldn't enjoy it as we have in past visits during fair weather. However, this particular December it was decorated very nicely for the holidays. On Friday, Saturday and Sundays the holiday lights were choreographed to flash with appropriate holiday music you could tune to on your car radio. A beautiful park regardless of the time of year.
