Great little museum

This gingerbread cottage museum gives you the experience of what it was like to live in a gingerbread house. The photos and artifacts tell the story of the how the houses and tabernacle came to be. We so enjoyed our conversation with docent Tomm and were sorry we weren't able to get back again during our week there.

    Um, Why would you bring a two-year-old here?
    Not quite sure why the other reviewer brought a two-year-old but for adults this museum is an excellent and inexpensive "Rosetta Stone" to understanding the gingerbread houses, not to mention your only chance to see one from the inside.

    Cottages, beware of skunks
    We stayed in Oak Bluffs and walked through the cottage area many times. It is very pretty. At night, there are skunks, so beware!
