    disappointing
Of all the Lower Colorado River Authority Parks so far this has been the most disappointing. The trails are not well maintained, and many are just mowed areas through the prairie. Little to no elevation gain. I probably won't go back. There was a nice primitive campground and a couple of worthwhile views.

Pretty Place on the River, No facilities
Pretty place on the Colorado River. Owned by Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) Unattended area. You fill out an envelope and pay by the car load. The road down to the river is paved most of the way. There are restrooms at the entrance area, but not down by the river, perhaps a mile away. Some people were riding horses they had hauled in. The location is about 2 miles from Hidden Falls Adventure Park. There is a sign. We waded in the water. The water moves and the rocks on the bottom are rounded, many saucer size. Water Shoes or old tennis shoes are helpful if you want to wade. Bring your own food and drinks and trash bags to carry your trash out.
