We went to specifically see the Park lit up with Christmas lights. We were thrilled with the displays. The city has done a wonderful job.

The Name Says it All
Lake Side Park is a nice spot to put the boat in, play basketball, or have a picnic. Clean, well maintained, and pleasant. The water had the typical "lake smell" near the shore but wasn't nasty. Mostly a good boat ramp and lake side picnics.

Great Christmastime experience
My family really enjoyed walking through the light displays here. The sheer number of lights is impressive, and the setting is all the more beautiful because of the reflection off the lake and the lights from the bridge. The only thing missing is a place within walking distance to buy coffee or hot cider to sip while enjoying the park. Donations accepted.
