Unique Mosque

As the oldest mosque in Ternate, this mosque has an unique architecture, different from other mosques. It also has many historical stories regarding the Sultan Ternate. I didn't know if tourist can enter the mosque or not because I chose not to enter.

    amazing mosque
    When the first time saw this mosque, i was amazed with the location of the mosque. This mosque jutting seaward.

    Muslim men only!
    My husband and I were told no non muslims are allowed inside. One of the worshippers kindly took photos with my husband's camera. We couldn't even go onto the porch. No explanation of the history or design outside that we could read.
