Extraordinary place to visit, protecting environment, fishing, turtles

Mr. Nus Leuwol is a man with a clear vision on taking care of natural environment. In 1998 he noticed care for natural environment slowly decreasing. He started to protect the mangroves at the bay of his village. The place became an extraordinary place to visit. Taking care of flora and fauna he created a unique touristic location. Mister Nus can also tell you about Moluccan history and culture. You can do your own fishing, see turtles, do some awsome photographing, have a boatride, enjoy the natural surroundigs. Even possible to stay for the night and enjoy a drink surrounded by beautiful trees, plants and flowers. It is a sightseeing not to be missed.

    Interesting folly
It is some kind of park with stones where you can have your name carved. The owner is working on this folly for years now. It's located at the mangrove coast. It is quite interesting to read the names of so many people from all over the world.

Put your name on the walls
This is very unique place. Actually it was build to protect the mangrove. But the owner made something different by allow visitor to write their name on the walls that specially build for that. But you must pay for it, and the amount is depend on how big the wall. And I did build my family “monument” there to mark we have been there. But of course we still can enjoy the mangrove habitats, flora and fauna. Must visit place in Saparua.
