Beautiful Piece of Art
This is a beautiful church out in the middle or a rural area. It is filled with paintings, other art and history. It is truly spectacular. The ceilings and walls are covered with paintings depicting events in the bible. It is a must see if you are in coastal Alabama. It is located just south of I-10.

Beautiful church!
If your schedule matches with the schedule of the custodian of this church, you MUST stop and see this church. The mosaics are amazing and totally unexpected. The history of this Greek community and their journey is culturally important to the region. Make sure you visit here and see inside.

Beautiful place, worthy experience
I'd visited this beautiful church in its unlikely location some 30 years ago with a dear friend who grew up nearby. Unfortunately, my next visit there this week was for his funeral. Nonetheless, it was an amazing experience to see this beautiful place again with older and wiser eyes. The design of the interior is awe-inspiring, an asset for any location and a pleasant anomaly for this area. The building is open for tours on some weekdays; check ahead for days/times. Donations for maintenance of the building are accepted. True, the grounds are not in pristine shape, but this is a church and not a museum or park. The cemetery holds the remains of many of the Greek settlers who came around the turn of the last century. Without a doubt, it's worth a visit when you're in the greater Mobile area.
