The most underrated museum in Saudi Arabia
This is an absolute must see when coming to Jeddah. This is an amazing humongous museum, with great explanations on the Saudi and regional cultures. The place is enormous, and the construction of the museum itself is very beautiful. You really need more than a day to be able to fully comprehend and assimilate all the information provided. The day that we visited, there were several local school children who came to learn about their culture. This is an absolute must visit, when in the area, and you will not be disappointed.

Living Saudi history
The beauty that was once Jeddah still alive in this fabulous museum. A fantastic collection of artifacts from the Islamic world and beyond housed in a building that is quite fascinating in itself. Will be going back as so much to take in.

Astonishing
This collection is truly one of the most comprehensive, bordering on eccentric, that it has ever been my pleasure to visit. The museum offers a massive spectrum of Saudi and other Arabian life, from regional vignettes to philately to calligraphy to fashion to art and beyond. It is so overwhelming that the two hours that I had planned were insufficient, and I am going to return to Jeddah simply in order to complete my visit to this magnificent museum I loved it!
