What a great beach.
What a really nice spot outside of the public beaches of Santa Marta. Besides the sure beauty of this beach and the surroundings, no vendors harassing you every 2 minutes. Nobody bothers you to buy unwanted trinkets. Also, be ready for the bus ride on un paved roads for 45 minutes each way. It was worth it to me. The food was very authentic too.

Nice little beach but get there early to find a quiet spot.
Loved the warm water and the little fish in the water at this beach in Tayrona National Park. The boat ride over is choppy and be prepared to get soaked by the time you get to the beach. Unfortunately we were expecting the beach to be much bigger and more spacious than it was, and so we walked way down to the far end and found some space which was quieter and away from the vendors and restaurants. We didn't appreciate getting hassled by the restauranteurs as soon as we got off the boat. The pressure is huge to buy a lunch here! We brought our own and were happy with that, thank you very much. I would go again knowing what I know now. There is apparently another trail that leads to an even prettier and very quiet beach about 45 minutes away by foot. Will try that out next time too. Overall a pleasant day.
