Kakaw museum and restaurant
I was in Minca in January of 2020 and ended up spending a lot of time at Kakaw. The museum and shop are very interesting. Lots of cool products for purchase and artifacts from the area. I purchased some good hot sauce, natural insect repellent and a bracelet. I also drank and ate at Kakaw a couple of times. The food was good and it was a relaxed place to sit and have some drinks. The staff and owner are awesome people and very welcoming. I will be back next time in Minca.

Interesting cacao “tour”
It was interesting to see how they make cacao. They show you the process from bean to cacao. We tasted smelled beans, tasted a purée. And got a cacao facial. It was a nice experience, I think it lasted 30minutes. It was nice to see.
