Lovely Lake
This lake is a good place to swim and play soccer on the beach; it's not the same as being next to the seashore where one can sunbathe - little privacy, with the road right next door. However one can take sundowner trips on the lake and there are several lovely slots where one can braai and picnic. Well worth a visit

One word.........AMA..ZING!!!
Despite being born n bred in Zambia, i have never really visited the northern part of the country until my job required me to. i had heard so much about the beaches in Samfya that i made this a priority visit during my free time. Let me just say it was worth every single minute....gosh this place is beautiful...untouched...undiscovered...and breath taking. Siavonga you have met your match actually you cant even match. the fact that its not overly populated and very peaceful and quite actually adds to its beauty. there is not much development around the lake which is sad given the fact its way beautiful than Siavonga but good in a way because its nature at its best and i am thinking i need some land near the lake coz you can easily have a private beach. a tip for those wanting it visit....carry food and drinks because its a natural as natural can be. there is a resort which i think will be beautiful coming up so that might entice more visitors but i loved my experience so much i would want it to stay that way!!!!

A gem waiting to be exploited
My first visit to Luapula in a while, came to this breath taking expanse of water, a Great Lake with natural sand beaches it would make a perfect destination with some investment......
