Excellent modern maritime museum
Very interactive, architecturally stunning, free parking in front, next to the top local fish restaurant, this new museum features exhibits focused on going to sea from the very harbor it's at. The personalization of the life and fate of sailors is really impressive. Very strong focus on kids, who all loved it and were really excited. One of the best activities for a rainy day, or any day, in Cuxhaven or nearby.

Certainly worthwhile.
Windstärke 10 is a great museum looking in to the history of fishing and shipping around the Cuxhaven area. I believe the location is a former warehouse and auction room for fish.

Great place for the whole family
We went there as we have heard that it is a lot of fun for everyone. This museum is very interactive, which means that your children can pretty much touch everything they see, which makes it so much more fun for them. The playarea is great and each room has a good display and easy explanations that you can understand it. We spend a long time at the museum as there is so much to explore . Can"t recommend this place highly enough
