Excellent short walk in beautiful nature
The trail on the wooden path is a very nice short walk. Beautiful spot and a good variation from the surrounding heather landscape.

great for hiking or a stroll through the moor and heatherfields
very nice stroll through the moor and heatherfields. Birds are plenty there to be watched. not over crowded. good parking (free) is available

Such a soothing place
This place is in the heart of mother nature. I visited there with my boyfriend's grand mother- she explained (tried to explain in English :)) about the place. We walked for about 2 hours and it was so calm and quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed going there. I got to see some rare birds (the ones I dont get to see in India). It is so amazing that there are no reptiles or scorpion which might harm you if stamped upon! That was unusal for me, and it gave me confidence to just freely roam around without the fear of a snake emerging from the woods and freezing every drop of blood in me :P.. It is a great place, this calm and healing atmosphere is a must considering the crazy busy lives that people lead these days. I cant wait to go there again when I am in Schneverdingen.
