    Management centre
    The center is located by the road and is a good place to know about what are the spices living in the protected area. The offering guided tours and the some souvenirs that you can buy.

    Worth a visit on a rainy day!
    Been here numerous times, very family friendly and staff try their best to interact with international guests. Plenty of information about nature, local area and conservation. Parking is available at the main car park, costs however, very busy at weekends due to Torfhaus been a popular tourist resort. Cost free parking is available near the Youth hostel NOT AT THE HOSTEL! (on the way to Altenau, about 400m from visitors centre). Good alternative to paying crazy prices at the main car park.
