Paying a visit to great Artist
How could I've skipped the Wilhelm Bush Museum being in his hometown? I learned of his art when I lived in Munich years ago and my philosophy professor, Karl Jaspers, gave me one of Bush's children caricature books for Christmas. I still gab the book at home; but, oh my, looking at his drawings at this Hannover museum was indeed a journey. Some drawings are so so funny, those roundish faced with pacifiers, those tricky acts, those great sketches of people you don't know but it doesn't matter: just enjoy the lines. Caricature along with satire is a wonderful way to see the other side of common place. I went twice and will return. Try it out!
