Very interesting visit
Visits are accompanied by a guide (ours spoke quite good English). This baroque schloss is a really interesting place to visit, especially in view of the English connection (through the Hanoverian royal family). Highly recommended.

A medieval town in its original form!
Wow! The library is outstanding and the town is a jewel that exudes history through ist 600+ buildings built long ago and nearly untouched by world war 2. A must visit is you are in northern Germany.
