View from The Shard on Virgin Experience voucher
The Shard has been at the top of my list of places to go for some time now and used my birthday trip to London as the perfect excuse to go! We booked through Virgin Experience Days which came with a meal at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and I believe it came to around £90 for two people so considered this to be really good value as currently the standard ticket price for The Shard is £25pp. We arrived at 14.00 on a Sunday and was asked to sign in on the Track and Trace app and queue for a short while so everyone could enter whilst abiding to social distancing rules. Unfortunately for us despite it being May, the weather has been quite poor and it was quite a grey and rainy day but did not let that ruin our experience. As it was for my birthday we decided to purchase a cocktail each on the 69th floor and take in some views and get some selfies of course! As expected the cocktails were on the pricier side but didn't mind paying as it was for a special occasion and they were really tasty! As with most places at the moment, the bar is table service only and you purchase drinks through the QR code on the tables which made for an easy experience, and to be honest, who really likes to queue? We then travelled up to the 72nd (I think) floor, which is open air and got a few last views in before the rain started to come down again. Despite having to book a time slot, I did not feel rushed and we could have walked leisurely around taking in the views as much as we would have liked. It's just a shame about the weather! It was really easy to find the entrance to The Shard as it is right at the entrance/exit of the London Bridge tube station! I would really recommend coming here as it has the tallest vantage point in Western Europe and the standard tickets are at a reduced price at the moment. I would also suggest checking our experience days online as you may be able to bag yourself an even better deal just like we did!

Amazing afternoon
What an amazing experience. From Entering to leaving the staff are fantastic so polite and accomadating. Show you where to go at every turn. A beautiful smell around the lobby's which was a nice touch. The prices for drinks were so nicely priced I thought I'd be paying alot for a soft drink £3 I was amazed. My mum got a free glass of champagne as it was her birthday. Maria Stock( i think that's her surname) we came 15th March at 3pm she served us she was so polite and nice. Really lovely lady.
