    central Duomo square
It is also extremely busy on the central Duomo square, mainly due to a peaceful protest action by hundreds of event employees who have been without income for months due to the corona crisis. Everyone is dressed in black and at some point they all hit their metal material box at the same time. Impressive, but it probably won't make much of a difference. Beyond this it is a very beautiful square with impressive buildings. Especially visit at night.

    A lively square
This is a lively, busy square with lots of street entertainers such as a man with a beautiful voice singing traditional Italian opera songs. There are some cheap restaurants just off the square with rhe view of the cathedral. There is also a fountain and shopping centres and museums just off it. Definitely a must if you are coming to Milan.
