Comfortable and very complete spa in Mid Limburg, Netherlands
I had a lovely time at this spa in the middle of the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. It's an unusual one - although modern in design, the interior, the garden and the restaurant menu have Mexican touches. There are plenty facilities - 4 saunas, steam bath, rasul, jacuzzi, and two swimming pools. And a good range of massage treatments, and a sun bed. Saunas are large, but situated close together, so there's never far to go. This spa specialises in what the Dutch call 'opgietingen', also called Aufguss or Löyly - sessions with a sauna employee who pours scented water on the stove and distributes the fragrant steam with a towel. They have several of these sessions every day, and often have special days or weekends with guests who've won prizes in championships for this kind of sessions. This spa combines the advantages of both large and small wellness facilities, and offers its services with a big smile and very friendly, personal attention. If I lived closer to it, they would see me often.
