Truly Awesome!
The Pinkpop on 3rd June 2017 which we attended was great, amazing & truly awesome! Thoroughly enjoyable despite heat & warm showers from the changeable weather. Our feet hurt, soaked shoes & awfully soaked hair but the shows were amazing and we were "oblivious" to muddy grounds or our soaked shoes.. FYI, we did not have any drink (alchocol)?. We went to Landgraaf by taxi - The taxi company is called Omega/Alfa - they were trustworthy & efficient with reasonable fare. At the Pinkpop, there was no queue but only a very huge crowd of people. We joined in the crowd (Thankfully, ppl were respectful & keep a good distance) and the crowd moved very slowly to one direction which we assumed was the entrance gate but alas, it was not and the direction of the crowd turned & we were motioned by the crowd towards a small fenced tunnel gate entrance which we saw only when we arrived at it & were scuffled into it - found ourselves passed by a ticket contoller. Then, we entered a 2nd fenced tunnel entrance whereby the contollers checked our bags/belongings. Thereafter, we found ourselves as in the Pinkpop ground where tents of stages were built, a few rows of small pop-up shops for food, drink & souvenirs a.o. Water was free with request for a donation. To get food or drink, coupon system applies. Pff! A real pain! Security? Pushing and squeezing did happened at one part of the evening & needless to say, it was just before Justin Bieber's concert, when those with a JB's bracelet were given priority to enter a barricade space near to the stage. Perhaps only 50 ppl has the bracelets but the chaos was great. The mgmt of Pinkpop should realized that it was not wise to kick out everyone in that area and re-enter (What's the point!). These are all kids (10 yr old - 15 yr old mostly) and they had to be in danger of getting stampered on, squeezed by the crowd etc (Got it?) Good entrance security but very poor management security for re-entry. Therefore, rating 1 (lowewst) to 5 (highest), i rate the security of Pinkpop as 2 Overall, i give it a huge 4 for the great show & experience.

Great Organization
We came from the Canary Islands to visit the Pinkpop festival in June 2016. We visited many festivals around the whole world, but an organization like Pinkpop we've never never seen before. Everything was releaxed and the security was great. Safety first. Well done organization. Also good good music. See you next year.
