To find such a beautiful castle in this little quaint town was a bonus. Stunning gardens and a friendly chat with one of the people staying there.

    Short Stop
    After almost two and half hours driving from Amsterdam, we decided to stop at Eijsden Castle for a while as it's not far from the border with Belgium. The castle is not open for public but we could wandering around in the garden. It's a beautiful castle. We took a short stop as we still needed two more hours to get to our destination.

    Beautiful castle and grounds
    Loved the castle, tree lined avenue, moat and grounds, very photogenic and so peaceful. Only a short walk fro our bed and breakfast Versud in Eijsden.
