Excellent eating at the bowling alley.

Hoeve de Aar. Restaurant Bowling and Partycentrum I went with a party of 14 friends. The table was ready set for our arrival with meats. Good quality meats, some in marinade. Very generous portions. Nicely arranged on individual platters ready for us to cook ourselves at the table. Together with little dishes of raw onions, peppers & mushrooms. 4 people sharing a burner. We were to help ourselves to the comprehensive salad bar & great bowls of quite delicious chips soon arrived at the table. If we wanted more all we had to do was ask. The waiter came to take our drinks order & despite the complexities got it spot on. We primed them that 'one of our number had a birthday' & they were kind enough to present her with a great Knickerbocker Glory, with an Ice Fountain Firework on the top. Nice touch. Lovely light & airy restaurant, pleasant decor. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean wash rooms. Bowling was enjoyed afterwards by those who wished.
