    The heart of a country.
This historical place that is located in downtown Lima, has among his attractions, the change of guards in the government palace, where our President lives, the Main Cathedral, The City Hall, and just a few blocks a special boulevard, named Chabuca Granda, in Honour of our most talented composer of peruvian Music, famous for songs like "la flor de la Canela" "José Antonio" and many more. In this Boulevard, you only need to wear informal clothes, no expensive watches or cam corders, because it is a common place where people go to eat typical dishes from Perú, like arroz con leche, mazamorra morada, picarones, anticuchos, and peruvian handicrafts, or you can have your portarit painted, the salespeople hired from the city hall, provide you with clean healthy food, I just mentioned, the red carts. Also there are shows made by street artists, but I´d rather you didn't get too close, just to avoid any problem, like language, If you are in a group, fantastic! You can also hire the religious circuit, with a travel agency, so you will visit important churches with a tour guide.

    Big Plaza
A really big plaza that seems to be the hub of the city. A strong Spanish influence and leads to many nearby interesting side streets, shops, restaurants and bars. It was nice coming here early in the morning when it was less crowded.
