Exciting One Day Trip From Lima

A 3-4 hour trip from Lima. Beautiful ride in the country. The lake is 4,400 meters above sea level ( I recommend chewing a few coca leaves available in Canta for symptoms of discomfort of the high altitude). Several lakes on drive the second being 7 colors. Parts of highway are slow so sit back and enjoy the wonderful scenery

    Lovely trip
    I think it was 3 hours. Despite that the high altitude the scenery to go the lake is beautiful!!! The only issue are the bad roads yet. I hope one day they can have nice roads, so it would be easy to go. Also, Canta is very nice too little town, just people who go over there need to keep cleans that place.
